PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
High quality Boletus mushrooms (Boletus Edulis), carefully cleaned
from earth and other dirt, dried through a natural process, carefully
selected and packed without adding preservatives.
Only top quality in terms of aroma and flavour intensity are used. The “Special” category defines mushrooms of top quality in terms of size, colour, flavour, aroma and with a very limited amount of impurities.
This product is idealfor preparing sauces, on pasta and rice, polenta, meat and game dishesIn general for all the traditional dishes where the use of porcini is indicated.
FOR MEAT DISHES: Soak mushrooms, drain and sauté in a pan with some oil and mixed chopped herbs.
FOR PASTA AND RICE: Rinse the mushrooms in cold water then soak them in lukewarm water for 15-45 minutes. Filter the liquid so that you may use it to add to preparations during cooking.
Pasta: sauté soaked mushrooms in oil and garlic, add tomato pulp or as an alternative milk cream, salt and pepper.
Rice: sauté soaked mushrooms in oil and garlic, then add rice; add the filtered soaking liquid gradually to cook your risotto.
